Day 1: SAN BENEDETTO DEL TRONTO
Arrival at Ancona or Bologna Airport, transfer by train to San Benedetto del Tronto.Welcome by Discover Italy Now Tour Leader, transfer to 3* Hotel or B&B.
Relax, refreshment and lunch and after you start discovering the maritime city that, from ancient Rome to the Renaissance, played an important role for trade and commerce with the other shore.
Your itinerant trekking tour starts at the port, to continue then towards a symbol of the city, the magnificent cathedral of St. Ciriaco and the small streets around Plebiscito Square.
You are going to walk through via della Loggia in the heart of the medieval Ancona and walk up to the beautiful Passetto beach.
You immerse youself into atmosphere of ancient times, you are going to be guided and told the history of the visited places.

Evening: You also start your adriatic culinary adventure, based mainly on fish, which can be enjoyed in one of the best restaurants downtown.

Day 2:
SAN BENEDETTO DEL TRONTO – ALBA ADRIATICA 16 km by bike
ALBA ADRIATICA – GIULIANOVA 11 km by bike
Your itinerant biking adventure starts early in the morning after a rich breakfast.
In your own pace you bike along country roads through olive groves, vineyards and breathtaking views of the Adriatic.Once in Alba, also known as the "Silver Beach" for the beauty of its coastline, you have lunch and together with your guide you visit afterward the historic center.
Relax on Alba’s coast during the afternoon.
Late afternoon: you continue the itinerant biking journey to Giulianova, a modern town with a beautiful renaissance historic centre that lies on the hilly part of the adriatic coast. You bike through the vineyards of Montepulciano and Trebbiano and the hills with their breathtaking views. At arrival you stop for a gastronomic break in an old osteria tasting the local wines and then visit the village on top of the hill.
You visit two of the three districts: Lido, a beach and tourist area & Annunziata, in the south of the coastal strip.

Evening: relax and good adriatic food with fish dishes and a glass of local wine.

Day 3:
GIULIANOVA – the town on the hill
GIULIANOVA – MONTONE 10 km of biking
Wine tasting and local products
The morning, after a breakfast with delicious local products, is dedicated to the third district of Giulianova, on top of the hill.
You are going to visit the Renaissance Cathedral and the Municipal Bindi Art Gallery, known for its beautiful ’800 century paintings.The itinerary takes you then to a farm for wine tasting of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo and lunch with local adriatic products.Afternoon: your journey continues around Giulianova, biking for about 2 km south to visit the extraordinary Romanesque church of Santa Maria a Mare and then towards the village of Montone that is going to be found around the ruins of the castle.
A visit of St. Anthony church with its gothic monument is also on the schedule.

Evening: relaxing in a local pub with live music.

Day 4: GIULIANOVA – TERAMO 30 km by bike
Wine tasting and local products
Your journey continues in the hinterland of the Adriatic area towards the old town Terramo, at the foot of the majestic Mount Gran Sasso.
You are going to bike through the beautiful area of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano, visiting the old part of the town with its interesting monuments, the roman theater, the amphitheater of imperial age, the cathedral of San Berardo with its lombard-gothic tower.After lunch is going to be visited an old winery.
Afternoon: continues with history, art and culture by visiting the Civic Art Gallery, the Archaeological Museum and the Observatory of Collurania.

Evening: relax in a restaurant

Day 5: TERAMO – NOTARESCO 24 km of biking crossing the Vomano Valley
Early in the morning starts your itinerant biking journey crossing the Valley of Vomano and redirecting back towards the Adriatic. You bike along the road "Wine Road of the Duchy hills" in the direction of the coast until you reach the town of Notaresco.
At arrival you have a gastronomic break with delicious adriatic dishes.
The visit of Civitello, the ancient fortress village, is also on the schedule.

Evening: relaxing in a restaurant and a bar with live music.

Day 6:
NOTARESCO – MORRO d´ORO 7 km of biking crossing the Vomano Valley
MORRO d´ORO – ROSETO DEGLI ABRUZZI 13 km by bike
Wine tasting
Your morning begins with a journey towards Morro d'Oro through suggestive landscapes and beautiful rolling hills. Along the valley you visit the beautiful romanesque-gothic church of Santa Maria di Propezzano and once arrived in the medieval village of Morro d'Oro you are going to visit the historical center.
Lunch at Joseph Savini’s farm where, beside local gastronomic products, will also be tasted good local wines.Afternoon: takes you to the hinterland, rich in vineyards....the magnificent landscapes in front of your eyes will make you dream for a long time. The journey takes you to Roseto degli Abruzzi ..... Montepulciano, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Chardonnae and Pinot Bianco .. are just some of the precious wines that can be tasted here.

Day 7: ROSETO DEGLI ABRUZZI – ATRI 20 km of biking crossing Pineto
The last destination of your journey on the beautiful Adriatic coast and its hinterland is Atri, in search of the most precious wine roads of the area.
You are going to pass by the beautiful beach of the coast, the hills and the lush countryside to get then to Atri, famous for its caves and gullies.
The historical center, the ethnographic museum which offers rich evidences of the vine cultivation and wine production, the medieval cathedral with its medieval cloister and museum....are on your scheduleLunch in a farm, tasting the local wines and typical products of the Adriatic.
