In Riomaggiore (closed to car traffic) Michielini family rents rooms and apartments since many years.
The guests stay in charming rooms/apartments in the centre of the village.
The houses with rooms to rent are located on the main street, which is very beautiful, with restaurants, café bars, shops, etc. It takes a few minutes walk to the sea.
There are several rooms and apartments to choose from and all are in the same building, except one that is located in another building. The total is 17 beds. All double beds can be separated as twin beds.
The rooms that have no kitchen, only have a refrigerator for drinks. Breakfast can be served at the bar in front. Anna Michielini received the National Park of Cinque Terre award: Eco-quality, because she cares about the nature by using energy saving light bulbs and the room cleaning is made with environmentally friendly detergents. In front of the house there is a terrace bar that plays live music.

Riomaggiore is a Cinque Terre village located most southerly.
It is so beautiful that many travel agencies have Riomaggiore on the front of their booklets.
It is characterized by large differences in the ground level. Dramatic and beautiful!
In Riomaggiore you can swim in the harbor or at the left of the village, where there is a stone beach with deep water. You do not need the car for a holiday in Cinque Terre. Trains and boats are comfortable. It takes only a few minutes by train to get to the other villages.
On the pedestrian streets there are shops that sell food, souvenirs, etc. Many grocery stores during the season are open seven days a week from early morning until late at night. Fresh bread can be purchased from the bakery or the supermarket (behind the counter). In supermarkets in Italy you can also ask to make sandwiches, choosing among many good salami. Some restaurants and pizzerias prepare takeaway food .... everything from pizza slices to pasta and rice salads….very good ...! Pharmacies and ATMs are available.
In Riomaggiore there are several restaurants, bars and cafes. Near the train station there is the information office of the National Park Cinque Terre, which sells the Cinque Terre card, guides, clothing, train schedules (but not tickets), etc.

Double room with kitchenette and bathroom -A small renovated room for those who want to prepare their breakfast on their own. The room is situated on the first floor of the building. Plate, kettle and fridge available in the room.
