Day 1: OLD PISA
PIAZZA DEI MIRACOLI WITH THE FOUR ROMANIC MASTERPIECES: THE CATHEDRAL, THE BAPTISTERY, THE FAMOUS LEANING TOWER, THE MONUMENTAL CEMETERY
Arrival at the Airport, welcome by Discover Italy Now Tour leader, transfer to Hotel*** or B & B. Refreshing welcome drink and free time to relax or to begin familiarizing yourself with the enchanting atmosphere of Pisa.
After lunch, together with the tour leader you start to explore the ancient Pisa dedicating the afternoon to four architectural wonders: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the leaning Tower and the Monumental Cemetery. The tour leader is going to explain the history of these monuments and from the wide grassy area you are going to admire the scenic effects.

Evening: delicious food in a local restaurant in Pisa

Day 2: PIAZZA DEI MIRACOLI, DUOMO´S MUSEUM, SAN ZENO CHURCH
Wine tasting and local gastronomic products
The day of today is dedicated to the "miracles" in Piazza dei Miracoli.
You continue then with the artworks displayed at Duomo´s Museum and afterwards you join a wine tasting and gourmet local products in a local wine cellar.In the afternoon you walk to Porta San Zeno with its beautiful church

Day 3: PISA AND ITS ANCIENT CHURCHES, SAN MATTEO NATIONAL MUSEUM, THE OLD SQUARES AND THE CLOCK PALACE
Ice cream and desserts tasting
The morning starts with a visit to the historic churches of Pisa.
The elegant St.Catherine's church, the Church of St. Francis with the Gothic bell tower, the Church of San Michele built over an ancient temple ....are some historical and religious evidences of great importance that you are going to visit in Pisa.
Lunch at “Taverna di Pillo” where you taste organic dishes accompanied by wines from the hills of Pisa.
During the afternoon you visit “Caffè Pasticceria Salza” for ice creams and desserts tasting.
Afternoon free for shopping at the daily market in Piazza delle Vettovaglie

Evening: good food and wines at “Trattoria La Mescita”

Day 4:
PISA - MARINA DI PISA 13 km by bus or by foot (according to the preferences)
Today you are going to have a foretaste of Pisa´s seacoast. You visit the old town of Marina di Pisa and about ten kilometers from the city, the coastal cliffs with small beaches, protected by breakwaters, as well as the more extensive beaches equipped for bathing.
It is a wonderful day dedicated to Pisa´s coast and culinary adventures

Evening: return to Pisa

Day 5:
PISA – MIGLIARINO PARK, SAN ROSSORE AND MASSACIUCCOLI 31 km by bus or train
MIGLIARINO PARK, SAN ROSSORE AND MASSACIUCCOLI – VIAREGGIO 20 km by bus or train
Your travel itinerary takes you today again to Pisa´s Riviera to visit the Natural Park of Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli that includes an area of coastal forests, beaches and large inland wetlands as well as a very interesting flora and fauna.
Then you travel to Viareggio, the main city and “capital” of Versilia considered "the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea" with its golden beach that has made it one of the most popular resorts in Tuscany.
You visit the old town and if your journey brings you here during the Carnival period, you can enjoy the traditional parade of floats with allegoric figures that each year chooses a specific theme for its playful satire.

Evening: Dinner at trattoria ”Darsena” and then back to Pisa.

Day 6: THE ROYAL PALACE, THE PALACE OF THE KNIGHTS , THE BOTANICAL GARDEN
Your sixth itinerant day in Pisa takes you at the Royal Palace and the Church of St. Nicholas and during the afternoon you visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens which has a large variety of tree species, both in the greenhouse and outdoors.

Evening: End of the program dinner in a local restaurant
