Day 1: MEDIEVAL SIENA: PIAZZA DEL CAMPO, BEAUTIFUL TOWER OF MANGIA / TORRE DEL MANGIA, PUBLIC PALACE Arrival at the Airport, transfer to 3* Hotel or B & B. Refreshing welcome drink and free time to relax or to begin familiarizing yourself with the enchanting atmosphere of Siena. During the late afternoon, we recommend you to start exploring the medieval Siena in the heart of the city. The seashell shaped Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Pubblico, Torre del Mangia and the beautiful Fonte Gaia are your first recommended tour in Siena.
Evening: enjoyable sienese gourmet, tasting traditional dishes and a glass of wine in one of the charming narrow streets around Piazza del Campo.

Day 2: MAGNIFICENT CATHEDRAL DUOMO, BAPTISTERY OF SAN GIOVANNI, MUSEUM OF THE METROPOLITAN WORK & IVIL MUSEUM Wine tasting and local food
After a breakfast with wonderful gastronomic products, including croissant and cappuccino, you continue the discovery of another pearls and fulcrums of the art life and history of Siena... You continue discovering other anchors of the life of art and history of Siena: Baptistery of San Giovanni, magnificent Cathedral with its distinctive facade of black and white stripes of marble, the Archbishop's Palace with beautiful art works, the Museum of the Metropolitan work preserving paintings and sculptures of incredible beauty. From the second floor of the museum can be enjoyed one the of most beautiful views of the city. Lunch at the restaurant "Le Lodges". During the late afternoon you are going to continue your tour towards the Civic Museum with the saloons where there are exposed frescoes by famous painters

Day 3: SIENA – VILLE DI CORSANO 20 km of trekking + bus VILLE CORSANO – ABBAZZIA DI MONTE OLIVETO MAGGIORE 32 km of trekking + bus Wine tasting and local food
You now start walking towards the area of Brunello vineyards. You continue walking on a wide series of sweet undulations to get to an old farming settlement where beside the lunch and some rest in the middle of thenature you even partecipate to a wine tasting.The journey then continues on country roads, some of them uphill, to reach the village of Cassia Buonconvento and then the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, a monastery of Benedictine monks, set among beautiful cypress trees. You are going to visit the benedictian complex with ancient frescoes and its laboratory for the restoration of ancient books and scrolls. You can also buy abbey liquors.

Day 4: MONTE OLIVETTO MAGGIORE – TREQUANDA 15 km of trekking TREQUANDA – PIENZA 18 km – TREKKING + BUS (depending on your preferences) The fourth day of your trip starts towards the renaissance village of Trequanda, a beautiful ancient village where you are going to visit the castle and the parish church. After lunch your tour continues towards the renaissance town of Pienza, walking along the beautiful countryside of Siena with rolling hills and beautiful landscapes. You “breathe” ancient art and history here. From Piccolomini Palace you will have the chance to admire the valley below the city.

Day 5: PIENZA – MONTALCINO 24 km towards ...Brunello’s area Wine tasting and local food
Your tour continues this morning among vineyards and beautiful countryside around Siena, towards Montalcino where will be found the Protection Consortium of Brunello di Montalcino wine. You visit the Old Town and the workshops, the Convent of St. Augustine and the Civic Museum with a rich collection of paintings by great sienese masters.

Day 6: MONTALCINO – CASTELNUOVO DELL´ABATE 10 km, ABBAZZIA DI SANT´ANTIMO CASTELNUOVO DELL´ABATE – SIENA 55 km by train The sixth day of your journey takes you on a trek pathway towards one of Tuscany’s most important monuments, Abbey of St. Antimo with its exquisite architecture.
