You will start your cooking day by going together with one of our chefs ... to the local market to choose the ingredients for the dishes that you are going to cook during the day ...

You are going to walk among wonderful colours and smells of fresh vegetables, ham, cheese, bread, honey, jams and taste typical local food while you select the ingredients and afterward go to the kitchen where you are going to be taught the traditional italian cooking techniques and help each other during the practical course.

With our top-level chefs you will teach the classic italian recipes as well as modern ones: homemade pasta with tomato sauce, pasta with clams, parmigiana, pasta with pesto sauce, tortellini, pizza, cakes ... these are just some of the recipes that you are going to learn with our talented chefs in typical italian surroundings....

It will be an unforgettable experience!

Good and wholesome ingredients, fresh vegetables and herbs, extra virgin olive oil, meat or fish and seasonal fruit from the local market.
You can also suggest what you want to learn to cook and the result will be a delicious food and wines experience.

The different levels courses (basic, intermediate, advanced) are held during:

• 1 morning
• 1 day
• 1 week (or more depending on demand)

The courses are usually kept for a minimum of 6 people and can have different themes:

• Basic italian cuisine which will include a full menu: antipasto, first & second course, a dessert and delicious wines selected specifically for the meal
• Tuscan Cuisine
• Handmade pasta and breads
• Sauces for pasta
• Sea cuisine
• Mountain cuisine
• Countryside cuisine
• Meat or Fish Menu
• Culinary journey in the Mediterranean
• Desserts

When you have cooked your food, you will sit down at the table and enjoy the fruits of your work along with fine wines specially chosen for the meal and Buon Apetito!

Price:
3 hours course: 70 euro
6 hours course (morning and afternoon): 100 euro
1 week course: 500 euro

All cooking classes offered by Discover Italy Now can be combined with wine tours in traditional cellars, cultural tours or other events held in Italy.
