About us

The first time I came to Italy was back in 1997 and a whole new world opened up for me. I wanted to submerge myself in art and ancient atmospheres.
I wanted to live closely and hear, feel and smell the “colours” of the magical Rome.
I wanted to feel the unique sensations when you walk on the steps of Piazza di Spagna with its spectacular panorama.
I wanted to live closely the thousand-year-old history whose magical testimonies fascinated me so much: Fontana di Trevi, Collosseo and Piazza Navona with its beautiful surrounding small streets....
I wanted to experience closely the small dreamy art cities: Florence, Siena, Montepulciano and I wanted to toast to sunset with a glass of wine on a romantic green hills of Chianti. ... I wanted to be carried away and dream while the sweet sound of my gondola was gliding on the water ...
I wanted to go on the romantic tracks of Romeo and Juliette in Verona and get lost among beautiful masks in Venice during the worlds most popular carnival…
I was really looking forward to admire “The Last Supper” by Leonardo da Vinci and get lost among narrow romantic streets with their nice boutiques in Milan…The experience was much more surprising and fascinating than I would ever have dreamt and I have remained faithful, since than, to this wonderful land ...
I fulfilled my university studies here, worked for several years in the communication and tourism field and decided after a while together with some friends, italian and scandinavian entrepreneurs, to create what now has become Discover Italy Now. We started in the attractive metropolis Milan but we can boast now a great experience in all the beautiful areas of Italy providing:
Weddings, Travel &Tours, Event Management and Accommodation booking.
