Day 1: THE ANCIENT ROME WITH THE CAPITOL, THE ROMAN FORUM, PALATINO, MARCELLO’S THEATRE, DOMUS AUREA OF EMPEROR NERONE, WITNESS OF THE IMPERIAL ROME Arrival at the Airport, welcome by Discover Italy Now Tour leader and transfer to 3* Hotel or B & B. Refreshing welcome drink and free time to relax or to begin familiarizing yourself with the enchanting atmosphere of Rome. After lunch, you start discovering the ancient Rome. The start point is going to be the Capitol/ Campidoglio, which was one of the most important Romanic settlements and residence of the roman senate. Your tour schedule continues towards Santa Maria in Aracoeli, Teatro Marcello, which represented a great source of inspiration when the Coliseum was built, a vast archaeological site of Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, some imposing cathedrals, witnesses of great and ancient civilization, the imperial domus, exclusive areas where the emperors had their residences.Your entire afternoon is dedicated to the discovery of the ancient Imperial Rome.
Evening: Dinner in a evocative restaurant such as: "Agata e Romeo" restaurant where you are going to have a gastronomic adventure based on the typical roman cuisine. Afterwards, you can choose to continue with an “after dinner” in one of the many bars with outdoor seating in Piazza Navona which is one of the most characteristic corners of the city. This square during the Christmas period is filled with stalls and beautiful festive atmosphere.

Day 2: THE IMPRESSIVE COLOSSEUM, THE LEGENDARY CIRCO MASSIMO STADIUM, THE ARCH OF CONSTANTINO, THE MAGNIFICENT IMPERIAL FORUM Wine tasting in an old wine cellar
After a delicious breakfast with roman hot croissants and cappuccino, you are going to start your morning walking in your own pace and searching for great evidences of the imperial era: the arena where the roman fightings used to take place between gladiators and wild beasts, the legendary stadium with spectacular races, arches, basilicas, temples and the Imperial Forums.
Evening: free or together with the tour leader in search of traditional roman cuisine and then a walk along the Tiber to discover the magnificent Rome by night.

Day 3: THE MAGIC TREVI FOUNTAIN, QUIRINALE AREA WITH BAROQUE CHURCHES, BARBERINI VILLA, PIAZZA DEL POPOLO WITH ITS BEAUTIFUL FOUNTAINS, COLUMNS AND OBELISKS, PIAZZA DI SPAGNA, PIAZZA DEL POPOLO, PIAZZA MONTECITORIO Your guided tour takes you this morning to the magnificent Trevi Fountain. You are going to “immerse yourself” in spectacular atmosphere of the famous Fellini film, "La Dolce Vita" and then continue with Piazza del Quirinale and one of the most beautiful views of the city. Every Sunday afternoon at 16.00 is held here the solemn changing of the guard. The Church of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane, the beautiful Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Montecitorio…are also on the schedule. Refreshments at “Caffè Greco” in via Condotti, which still preserves the original nineteenth-century atmospherewhere artists and writers used to organize meetings.

Day 4: SANT´ANGELO CASTLE, THE SOLEMN BASILICA OF SAN PIETRO, THE SISTINE CHAPEL, THE VATICAN MUSEUMS AND THE VATICAN CITY Wine tasting in an old wine cellar
Your itinerary begins this morning with other symbols of the different eras: -Castel Sant'Angelo with Ponte Sant'Angelo /Sant’Angelo bridge where you are going to have a spectacular view of the river Tiber -St. Peter's Basilica -St. Peter's Square and basilica with the magnificent dome, a marvel of Michelangelo -Vatican Museums, one of the world’s most famous museums with its heritage of city’s past and the famous Sistine Chapel and Raffaello’s precious room.
Evening: exciting atmosphere of Trastevere among wine bars, restaurants and wonderful places where to spend a pleasant evening

Day 5: THE BAROQUE PIAZZA NAVONA, MADAMA PALACE, ARGENTINA ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREA, THE BEAUTIFUL CUPOLA OF THE PANTHEON The fifth day of your roman adventure takes you to the baroque Navona Square with its beautiful fountains: Fontana dei Fiumi, Fontana del Moro and Fontana di Nettuno, the baroque Church of Santa Agnese in Agone and Pamphili Palace. You are going to pass close by Palazzo Madama, seat of the Senat, and a bit further in Piazza San Pantaleo you are going to find Rome´s museum with a large collection of sculptures, paintings and frescoes from Middle Ages to the nineteenth century. The tour schedule also have in store a visit to the archaeological Argentina area, the Church of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva and the Pantheon with its magnificent dome, one of the most interesting roman architecture which houses the tombs of the kings of Italy.
Evening: dinner in a local trattoria, visit of the castles and lively atmosphere in Campo dei Fiori. The evening can be fulfilled with a romantic walk through the streets of Rome.

Day 6: PARKS, GIARDENS AND ARISTOCRATIC VILLAS IMMERSED IN THE GREEN: FROM VILLA BORGHESE TO VILLA DORIA PAMPHILJ Wine tasting in an old wine cellar
Today you are going to discover some ancient villas and beautiful gardens that surround them. You visit Villa Borghese with its rich collection of art, “Pinicio”, the public garden planned at the time of Napoleon to self-celebratory purpose, the fifteenth-century Villa Medici, the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art which houses Villa Giulia, the National Etruscan Museum, an important witness of pre-Roman civilization and on the other side of the Tiber you also visit the widest of the Roman villas, Villa Doria Pamphili.

Day 7: THE NAPOLEONIC MUSEUM, THE MUSEUM OF ARTS AND POPULAR TRADITIONS, ROMA´S LARGEST SPA COMPLEX The last part of your itinerant journey takes you again toward the Tiber to visit the Napoleonic Museum which documents the distinct stages of the Napoleonic period. Next, you are going to visit the National Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions and then the National Roman Museum which is divided into five sections - Massimo delle Terme Palace, Aula Ottagona, Altemps Palace, Diocleziano Hor Springs and Balbi Crypt, located in different parts of the city. If time allows, you can also visit Caracalla Hot Springs, built by the emperor Caracalla.
Evening: dinner and end of the program, after dinner drink at “Taverna del Campo” in Campo dei Fiori and wonderful roman atmosphere
